  • Reverend kevin ewing

    Senior Interim MINISTER

Reverend Kevin Ewing (or as he is often affectionately called, RevKev) is well known at United Church on the Green. He served as our bridge pastor in 2014, returning as bridge pastor again in November 2021. In 2022, he accepted our call as Senior Interim Minister. Here in CT he serves as Associate Pastor of Amistad United Church of Christ in Hartford and as Chaplain for the Pequonnock Yacht Club in City Point. Previously, he has served as the Acting Pastor for First Church (Center Church) in New Haven, and Interim Sabbatical Pastor for Church of the Redeemer in New Haven. RevKev has strong ties to the New Haven community; he also is a Commissioner on the City of New Haven Economic Development Commission, Vice Chair of the Board of the International Festival of Arts and Ideas, and a Trainer/Facilitator with the Neighborhood Leadership Program in New Haven. RevKev takes his passion and experiences from community building into his work as a pastor, organizing within church communities and connecting church resources with community needs. He is also the founder of Baobab Tree Studios and the podcast network BaobabTreeStories.com. In his free time (free time? what’s that?) he chills on his sailboat. Feel free to reach out to RevKev at pastor@unitednewhaven.org
